Thomas Fogarty Winery Shipping Policy
All in-stock wines purchased on our website (fogartywinery.com) or at the winery will be processed and shipped within 5 business days (unless extreme weather requires that we hold your order). We ship out Monday through Wednesday, and the transit time of your order will depend on the delivery address and time of year.
All orders will be shipped via UPS Ground, UPS 2-Day, or UPS Overnight, depending on your location. You will be given those options when you check out online. If purchased at the winery and no preference for shipping speed is given, we will select the cheapest method available.
If you require delivery by, or after a specific date, please give us a call at 650-851-6777, or email us at email@example.com. We are in the office from 11-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, so for the quickest response time please contact us during those hours.
Federal law requires that a person over the age of 21 sign for all alcohol deliveries, and there are no exceptions! Therefore we strongly recommend shipping to a business address, or to a UPS location. Missed delivery attempts, returns, and/or redirects may put the quality of your wine at risk, and additional fees may apply. See below for applicable fees.
All order changes and address corrections requested after a shipment has been initiated will be subject to applicable fees.
To make sure that your wines are delivered in the same condition that they leave the winery, we store our wine in temperature-controlled conditions, carefully inspect bottles before they ship, and hold shipments during times of extreme weather. If your order needs to be held for weather, we will contact you by email or phone with details and then ship your order as soon as conditions allow us.
We will send you an email as soon as your order is en route to the email address provided at the time your order was placed. You are responsible for receiving and reviewing your shipping and delivery details, so please add info@fogartywinery to your safe senders list. In order to be able to control your deliveries, we recommend that you establish a profile with UPS on their website. This will allow you to redirect your order, or hold your order at a UPS location if needed, without having to take the time to go back and forth with us.
We ask that you inspect your delivery from us as soon as it arrives. If anything is broken in transit please let us know immediately so that we can immediately take action to rectify the situation, and file a timely claim with the carrier. Please note that we will be unable to replace broken bottles for you if we are not notified within 14 days of delivery.
Thomas Fogarty Winery cannot be held responsible for delivery delays outside of our reasonable control due to circumstances such as extreme weather, natural disasters, carrier errors, etc.
Fees:Current shipping rates apply to all shipments from Thomas Fogarty Winery as determined by shipping method and delivery destination. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Current shipping rates apply to all reshipments.

Thomas Fogarty Winery Return Policy
Over our decades in the wine business, we have learned that even with the highest of quality standards, occasionally bottles are flawed or damaged. We take great care and pride in the wine that we make, and hope that you always enjoy your Thomas Fogarty wines. However, if you suspect that something may be wrong with a bottle you’ve received, please contact us so that we can make it right (even if you purchased the bottle a few years back, there is no time limit on quality!)
